The short version: ReefVitals collects no data. None.
ReefVitals does not collect, transmit, store remotely, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Everything you enter in ReefVitals — tanks, water test readings, reminders, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). It never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes the data.
The only network communication ReefVitals performs is with Apple's App Store (StoreKit) to display subscription options and process purchases you initiate. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; ReefVitals never sees your payment information. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Test reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
ReefVitals does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If a future version of ReefVitals ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with the effective date above.
